Due to the COVID-19 virus

  

Due to the COVID-19 virus, and out of concern for our employees, township residents and volunteers, the Richmond Township Supervisors have closed the Township Building to public access and cancelled the following events: Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th, Township Clean-up Day on April 25th, and the Rec Center Clean-up Day on May 9th.  Memorial Day Celebration has also been cancelled.

Volunteers Needed

Richmond Township has a few openings for people to serve on our Recreation Board. Volunteers are asked to help with our Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Program and our Halloween Trunk or Treat events. If you are interested in becoming part of our REC Board and helping out with these community programs, please email us at richmondtwp@windstream.net, or call 814-967-3822 and leave a message with your contact information.

Renting the Rec Building or Picnic Pavilion

Richmond Township’s annual clean-up day, which was held on Saturday, April 27th.

 It resulted in a steady flow of various items that township residents wanted to dispose of. Two complete steel containers were filled, along with four containers of unwanted household items. 

Richmond Township and the Recreation Board would like to extend a huge thank you to all who volunteered to unload items from people’s vehicles. In addition, a special thank you to all who made monetary contributions to the Recreation Board. The generous donations that we received will be put to good use at our REC Center! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We look forward to seeing our township residents again next year for clean-up day on the last Saturday in April!

Interested in renting the Richmond Township shelter or building?

For those interested in Rental of the Rec Building or the Pavilions:

 Beginning January 1, 2019, anyone who wants to rent the Recreation  Building or Pavilions will need to fill out a rental agreement and  submit it along with two checks, one for the rental and the other for a  deposit (which will be returned after the rental takes place).

  • Two Ball Fields.
  • Two Picnic Pavilions.
  • Swings, Slide Boarding, Exercise Bars for the younger individuals.
