Recreation Area Plans for 2026
We’re thrilled to announce plans for a major renovation of the recreation facility, featuring expanded parking, all-inclusive playground equipment, modernized lighting, and new amenities like Pickle Ball courts. We invite your suggestions—please share them on our new Facebook page To support this project and renovations to the veteran’s memorial, we’re seeking donations to secure matching grants. If you’re able to contribute, please send a check payable to Richmond Township to the township building:

RENTALS INFORMATION:
Interested in renting the Richmond Township shelter or building?
For those interested in Rental of the Rec Building or the Pavilions:
Beginning January 1, 2019, anyone who wants to rent the Recreation Building or Pavilions will need to fill out a rental agreement and submit it along with two checks, one for the rental and the other for a deposit (which will be returned after the rental takes place). Enclosed below is the link to download those rental forms.

- The Rec Area consists of a 1/2 mile walking trail.
- Three Ball Fields.
- Two Picnic Pavilions.
- Swings, Slide Boarding, Exercise Bars for the younger individuals.
- Basketball Hoop.

Volunteers Needed
Richmond Township has a few openings for people to serve on our Recreation Board. Volunteers are asked to help with our Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Program and our Halloween Trunk or Treat events. If you are interested in becoming part of our REC Board and helping out with these community programs, please email Melissa Dengler at melissadenglernd@yahoo.com , or call 814-967-3822 and leave a message with your contact information.
